Decompression Engine (“the app”) is an offline decompression dive-planning tool, provided by Andrew Turner. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
In short: the app collects no personal data. Nothing you enter leaves your device.
None. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on any server. There is no account, sign-in, or registration, and the app does not ask for your name, email address, location, or any other identifying information.
The app saves the dive plans, gas mixes, unit preferences and other settings you enter, locally on your own device, so they are available the next time you open it. This information stays on your device — it is never sent to us or to anyone else. You can remove it at any time by clearing the app’s data or deleting the app.
When you use the app’s Copy, Share, or Export features, the plan text you have created is placed on your device’s clipboard, handed to your device’s share options, or saved as a file — always at your request and under your control. The app does not send this information to us.
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking technologies, and no third-party software development kits (SDKs). It does not track your activity within the app, or across other apps or websites.
The app is designed to run fully offline and does not transmit the information you enter. It may contain links to external reference websites; if you choose to follow such a link, that website’s own privacy practices apply.
We do not share data with third parties, because we do not collect any.
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Because we do not collect or hold any of your information, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side. Any information stored locally remains under your control on your device.
